Paul Guran
I’m a potter with over 15 years of experience working with clay, and for the past 7 years, I’ve had the joy of teaching pottery at Cottage Pottery Studio in London, Ontario.
My teaching style is relaxed, humorous, and detail-oriented.
I believe in creating a welcoming space where students feel supported as they explore both hand-building and wheel techniques.
Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to guide you at your own pace, with patience and a good dose of fun.
Beyond the studio, I stay connected to the local arts community by participating in farmers’ markets and craft shows across Ontario, where I share my love for colorful, functional pottery. When I’m not working with clay, you’ll often find me scuba diving, hiking in nature, or getting creative with fiber arts — especially anything involving wool.
Pottery, for me, is all about connection, creativity, and joy — and I love sharing that with others.
